EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
CONSULTANT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
The Betting, Gaming & Lotteries Commission (BGLC) is a statutory body established
in 1975 under the provisions of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act to
regulate and control the operations of betting and gaming and the conduct of
lotteries in Jamaica.
To better fulfill its functions, serve the public and
accommodate its staff, the BGLC is in the process of acquiring a property
situated at 78C, E, & F Hagley Park
Road, Kingston 10. to which its entire operations will be relocated.
To this end the BGLC requests Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Architectural Firms to
provide services with respect to the retrofitting of the property, including
all planning, design and implementation of architectural services and
co-ordination of technical submissions required in this project. Applicants
should also be registered with the Architects Registration Board.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) should take the form of a
letter of transmittal along with the following:

Company
profile inclusive of Curriculum Vitae of Principal(s) and key project team
(Including Structural , Electro-
mechanical Engineers and Quantity Surveyor)
·
A
minimum of ten (10) years experience
·
A
concise description of at least three (3) completed projects that are of a
comparable nature
·
All
enclosed documents must be listed in the letter of transmittal
A site visit will be
held at 78C, E, & F Hagley Park Road, Kingston 10 on Wednesday, September
8, 2010 at 10:00am.
A company will be selected in accordance with GOJ Procurement
Guidelines as set out in the Handbook for Public Sector Procurement and is open
to all companies, who are registered with the Architects Registration Board.
Expressions

Only short listed firms will be notified by e-mail and/or
telephone when the Request for Proposal (RFP) is ready for collection. At the
time of bidding firms will be required to submit copies of valid Tax Compliance
Certificate (TCC) and Proof that the annual practice fee for 2010 has been paid
to the Architects Registration Board with their proposals.

will be accepted.
